In writing up a project report what's the difference between the purpose and the scope? We Answered:
PURPOSE describes the reason for the project. Sometimes purpose and objective are used interchangeably for this one.SCOPE describes the breadth of the subject your writing about. Another way to think about it is the boundaries for the project. (e.g. "is this in the scope of the project you are working on?"
As your question relates to a manufacturing environment, you could think of PURPOSE as addressing the question of "what problem you are trying to solve", while SCOPE would answer, "what is the range of options available to be considered for solving it".

pls i need links on how to find the foolowing,i'm actually writing a report/project?We Answered:
Cadmium is a substance that is banned in most products in North America, as is lead and asbestos. That being said ... you know enough to ask on Yahoo Answers for your homework ... try a search on Yahoo or Google with the keywords of your project.
And ... just as a suggestion ... take everything you find on wikipedia with a grain of salt. It is too easily modified to be considered a completely trustworthy and accurate information source. If a wikipedia entry happens to list sources, go directly to them and review the 'original' material for yourself, and come to your own conclusions.
