Write A Report Format
Brandon Said:
How do I write a report about my secondary school ?We Answered:
plan it out under a series of headings:background
what you have been asked to do /what the purpose of the report is - if you are analysing anything in particular
Introduction
Set the scene - where it is what type of school etc
Text
make this the description - break it down further if necessary
Conclusion
it's usual to have something to pull it all together - is it a good school? Try not to leave the reader dangling in the air.
Trickiest bit in description - if there are changes you know about or what the future holds, this is the place to put it.

How do I write a report?We Answered:
What class is this for? High School? Freshman? The requirements are set by your teacher, who should have provided that information. It sounds like you are writing an essay more than a report.
Here is a typical example.
Start with a thesis statement. "Jack and Jill are not good role models."
Then, support that statement. "This is what a good role model should be" followed by "This is why Jack and Jill are not good role models."
If you want to stretch that into three paragraphs, you can use the first paragraph as an introduction to who Jack and Jill are, and end it with your thesis statement.
If you want to stretch it even further, use your second paragraph to define a good role model, listing several examples (however many additional paragraphs you want to write). Follow this with a paragraph about how Jack and Jill do not have those qualities you mentioned. Remember, each paragraph should have a clear thesis. "Jack and Jill are selfish people"
It should end in a conclusion. "Because Jack and Jill are selfish, mean, drug addicted, alcoholics, they are poor role models."
Here is a paragraph structure you could use.
Jack and Jill are a boy and a girl who ran down the hill. They are well known to all, and have a great impact on society. They have been used in rhymes many times. However, Jack and Jill are not good role models.
A good role model should be someone who... is kind, considerate, and a good person.
Jack and Jill are not kind people, because...
Jack and Jill are not considerate because...
Jack and Jill are not good people because...
Since Jack and Jill are not kind, considerate, or good people, they are not good role models.
Remember... paragraphs can be a single sentence, but are usually made up of 4-10 sentences.
Good Luck!
