Depends on the type of report. If it's something like a research paper, be sure to cite all sources you use and use a lot of examples from the sources to back up your own argument. It helps to outline what you anticipate writing about, even though this may change. Have each paragraph start with a topic/transitional sentence. Make sure you have a well-defined thesis at the end of your introductory paragraph and stick to the thesis. A thesis is like a mini outline of your paper all wrapped up into one or two concise sentences.Gary Said:
