Types Of Reports Writing

Emily Said:

Which should i get for Uni, a Windows or an Apple?

We Answered:

Choose a Windows laptop unless you're in editing, journalism or graphics. As much as I am a fan of Apple Macs, it is valuable to be able to share files with other students and teachers easily, and Macs are more expensive. Also, games are usually developed for Windows PC's and need a lot of work if they're going to run on a Mac or a Windows emulator on a Mac - even despite the Intel processors they have nowadays.

Martha Said:

What are jobs that...?

We Answered:

Actually, you have the brain of a Producer or a Development Exec.

I've met tons of, "Idea," guys like you over the years. Full of, "Great ideas," but lacking the skill to get them down on paper. Or my personal favorite, "I fancy myself a bit of a writer." Bingo!

Seriously though, guys like that hire guys like me.

The track is a bit weird. It helps if you've got some business background (but not too much). You'll start out as a personal assistant, sort of a codependent coffee or Evian fetcher with some sock purchasing and dry cleaning pick up chores thrown in for good measure. The pay will be low and the hours long. Your life will not be your own and for all intents and purposes, you'll be an indentured servant.

However, if you're smart (like a Fox) you'll learn the ropes by osmosis and if you show initiative, you'll move up the ladder. And if you make your boss look good by finding the next big script and letting him (or her) take credit for the discovery, you'll do well indeed.

I'm a produced screenwriter with feature film and TV credits.

Vera Said:

What type of writing involves gathering, arranging, examining, interpreting, and recording information?

We Answered:

Looks like a test question to me...

The answer is [B] Report Writing.
Sounds almost like an outline of a science experiment design.

Theresa Said:

Write the types of reports in SQL?

We Answered:

SQL really doesn't have reports per se...it's just a language for interfacing with relational databases. The closest to a 'report' you get is the resultset of a given query. For real formatted reporting, the resultset needs to be piped into an application like Crystal Reports or a customized program. The only other possible interpretation might be the output of an EXPLAIN, but not sure I'd characterize that as a 'report' either.
