you simply tell your friend that your sorry but you can't do it because YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED YOUR OWN REPORT.
You can suggest that he have his parents write a note for him telling the teacher why he couldn't finish his report i e that his internet is not working.
That is if he is telling you the truth & isn't being a lazy bum.
If you don't want to tell him because it would make you look like a hole, then you are being a BIG WUSS anyway.
Be confident & stick up for yourself.
remind him he only has a few hours left to get his report done.

Ask the author how he came up with the idea, talk about what you think of the story and/or characters, MAYBE comment on the book cover and its attractiveness (or lack of), explain your favorite part of the book, ask any questions that you were left with when you were done reading the book (I haven't read the novel, but hopefully this helps...)

I wouldn't recommend using ebay for something like that. Don't get me wrong, that is a great idea. If I were you i would become a typist. You could get people to give you there rough drafts at school and you can type it for them. That way it isn't cheating. Just make sure that you are a fast Typer and get the paper to them on time. I would also raise you rates a little, maybe charge ten cents a word. With word processors these days it is easy to find how many words there are. Good luck!

A thesis statement should tell the reader what to expect to read in your paper. It should be the last sentence in the first paragraph. It helps if you make an outline of what your going to write and include all the major ideas in your thesis statement.

Ex. If you are writing a paper on why people should go to college you could write.

There are many reasons someone should attend college, from the social aspect to the wide range of job opportunities, it is a very good experience for someone to go through.

Then you would go on in your body paragraphs and explain things in detail.

That's a real quick example but I hope you get the idea, good luck!

Okay, I'm not 100% sure so other answerer's please correct me if I'm wrong.

Rising Action - the Actions and events in the book that lead up to the Climax* and build suspense and excitement, or even problems.

Climax - the major event in the book which is the end of the lead up from the rising action*. It is like the high point in the book, the most interesting part, etc.

Falling Action - After the Climax*, the book needs to sort of wind down and slowly end, so the falling action resolves the character's problems, smooths out any issues, etc.
