I wish they would not use that kind of language....that's the kind of thing teachers understand not parents....or non educaters...it means she has concern over your son's writing skills and his ability to use the accepted conventions...such as grammar and punctuation. Make an appointment to speak with her and ask what you can do to help him along....if you don't understand what she says totally then make her tell you again....they're lazy....using that sort of phrase....instead of thinking what the normal description of the problem would be.

I can relate to you my friend for english was not my first language as well. I also believe that writing is one of the most important skills you need in life. What i suggest you do is take extra courses in english. Take intro to english if you have to even if you already did. It would substantially help you. Another thing is to read read read! read novels or newspapers and see how professionals write. this will give you an insight of how writing can be structured and also help you with words. I also suggest that you interact a lot in english and know the language thoroughly before you start writing. I hope i helped. Good luck to you..

have 1 page for an introduction: What is terrorism? Give examples. Who is saying what about it? [give two sides of the story-what do the terroists say, what do anti-terrorists say]. Why is it important to know about terrorism and counter-terrorism? Why is important for school students to learn about it. then something like: This paper will discuss how terrorism is right/wrong (choose). First, ...[terrorist groups?] will be discussed. Secondly, domestic terrorism will be presented. Next, counter-terrorism methods will be highlighted. Finally a conclusion will bring together the main points of the paper to show that knowledge of the negative effects of terrorism is important to ..[what?].

So now you have three topics for the Body of the essay, and if you write almost 1 and a half pages for each topic that will be 4 pages, and then write your conclusion.
