Pre-school supervisor who finds the paperwork is starting to take the fun out of my job.
I love working with the kids, but the stress of paperwork deadlines, OFSTED, reports and development records is taking its toll.
My sympathy is with you, though I'm afraid I think they may bring some more out at any second!!!!

There is tons of information out there.

Ask a local hospital or diabetes center to help out.

I am a middle school teacher and see children every day. There are positive and negatives in every situation.

positives-

I find they are a lot smarter than when I was a kid. I teach pre-algebra and I have 5th- 8th graders in my class. I had pre-algebra when I was a sophomore in highschool.

they seem to be much more creative- I was never as creative as my class is.

They really love to debate issues and want us adults to listen to what they have to say. I love this about my class.

they actually care about what is going on around them in the world not just their back yard.

Negatives.

Many children today expect their parents to pay for everything from a car at 16 to paying their college.

A failure to take responsibility for their mistakes. Usually blaming others for what they have done.

It seems that parents have also allowed their children to do this. It constantly seems that the parents don't think their little precious child can make a mistake. The parents also blame others for their childrens mistakes.

You didn't state what grade level, but you could have the students use the Internet to research puppets, then have them write an essay or report. Or, they could write about the process of creating their puppet company, the history of puppets, famous puppets (Muppets, etc.). There are many directions you could go with this topic. You might start with Googling "puppets" and see what you get.
