Professional Report Template

Danny Said:

What is the name of the software that is used for programming reports and templates?

We Answered:

crystal reports is a good one - its usually fairly expensive to buy, but I found they use to release older versions on pc mags for free, which is a great way to get a full version for free, alternatively they do trial versions on their web site, but im not sure what they cripple.

If you have MS Access (primarily a database prog, but it has integrated programming - visual basic- and reporting), reporting in there is not too bad, plus you can tweak it with VB. Not as powerful as Crystal Reports but still a good contender.

How to do this with MS Word 2007?

We Answered:

I do not know every Microsoft Word in several years. Specifically, if you have MS 2003 or Word Perfect 12, your headlines may not be deleted. That's all I can say for sure.

Benjamin Said:

what is the best way to prepare the accounts for the accountant?

We Answered:

It really depends on what tax returns the accountant is preparing. Because of the way you say "accounts", it sounds like it might be a business. If it is, then print out a trial balance- that's the main thing he'll need. If, on the other hand, you're referring to your father's personal return, then the best thing you can do is print out a blank tax form and go down the list of things it asks for. Gather them up and paperclip the things that go on the same line together. Then put them in order by when the form asks for it.

Specifically what form depends on what country you're in and how complicated the return is.

Without a little more detail, it's hard to be more specific, but I hope that helps a little, at least. :0)
