E-Readers and other High technology in the 7/8th grade classroom.?We Answered:
That's going to be tough to find all that info, and especially here, because most people are just going to try and sell you on some device, most notably the Kindle. That's what happens here, I've come to find. The problem is that there haven't been a lot of trials for ereaders in middle school classrooms yet to draw information from, and especially not enough to acquire all the information that you seek.
However, there have been a number of Universities that have tried implementing the Kindle DX, with mixed results. Here's a few articles about it . . .

Obviously the main benefit of ebook readers over textbooks is price. Textbooks cost a lot less in digital format. Other benefits include: annotating, referencing dictionary and Wikipedia and other online sources directly from the ereader, carry thousands of ebooks and documents at once.
Hope this helps!

will someone review the beginning of the story im writing? We Answered:
it's pretty good, it's interesting and youre right it does read fast.ive had the same problem though when i try to write something in that i want to get into the action right away. i dont want to say you need more filler, but when you read a published book everything doesnt happen that fast. maybe if this is like the beginning and then you can do some sort of flashback to build up to this realization? kind of like some jodi picoult books. i like the rhetorical questions, it makes it conversational.

Why do so many kids come here seeking Homework advice? We Answered:
I feel the exact same way as you do. It drives me crazy sometimes. Kids have access to an almost infinite amount of information on the internet, and some of them are still too lazy to try and find it themselves.Clarence Said:

Who do I call to report sexual harassment in the workplace? We Answered:
If I'm not mistaken, if you cannot achieve a remedy through your employer's HR department you can contact the EEOC and they should be able to help you. If not directly then by telling you who in your state to contact.Be sure to have well documented all the harassment events (time, place, person you reported it to, people involved, etc.) including any paperwork submitted to your HR if possible.
Update:
Well, if you don't have documentation that's OK. Just be sure that you think over each event and try to write down what you remember happened. Make it short and sweet - try not to ramble on with unimportant details. Keep those notes handy when you make your calls.
If nothing else, please do a lot of reading on the Internet about workplace harassment. Being able to make it clear to your boss that you know your rights, you know by name which laws are being broken and that you know who to contact and what actions you can take isn't a bad thing.
Even if you can only find out or remember a few buzzwords, just dropping those might scare him into actually doing something about it next time!
