How To Write Weekly Report

Elaine Said:

Help with my speech for student council secretary?

We Answered:

Hello,
For the fellow students who do not know me, My name is (Name) and I am running for the position of student council secretary. I am running for this position because I have the necessary skills and experience to be a good secretary if I am elected. ***(When you say I believe, it is stating that you are not sure)***

Now let me tell you about the secretaries' responsibilities. The first responsibility is to keep a record of all the happenings of the student council. The next duty, is to plan an agenda for meetings and write weekly secretary’s report. Last, they call for donations that are needed within the student council.

As vice-representative for team 7W, I have became very familiar with the student council this year. I have attended all meetings, and seen firsthand what the secretary’s duties are and how they should be carried out. I assure you, I will be able to pick up where the previous secretary left off.

Whomever is elected as secretary should have the skills to be reliable and organized. They should be able to communicate with the entire student body and be able to listen to concerns and produce positive feedback. Whoever you vote for should be someone you think will best represent the student body of "school".

In my fifth grade class, I was voted as the hardest worker. Hard work, I believe is essential to success. I know many dislike waking up in the morning and going to school. Whether the bus is too yellow or the rain won't let up, if elected, I will try my best to make students enjoy coming here. I know this may seem like a daunting and impossible task. However, with a little creativity, I know we, as students, can make school a little funner.

So now that you all have a little more knowledge of me and the position I am running for, I know you will make the right choice. If you choose to vote for me, I can tell you one thing, you will not regret it.

I need help with Water and Air Pollution?

We Answered:

1 - The town/county or local water association can install a treatment plant to remove the Suspended solids from the water.

Otherwise, you, as either a business owner or homeowner would do well to install a carbon filtration system on the water coming into your home/business to remove said contaminants.

2 - The county can set aside some land for a commercial class 1 landfill to eliminate the burning of debris

Peer groups - peer pressure, definitely.

Peer groups (and they get it w/ fake ids or paying an older person to buy it for them)

Harsher punishments and better education on the subject.

How to convince my dad to let me adopt Guinea Pigs?

We Answered:

you could try to explain to your parents that you are getting older, and would like your room to be a place where your things are respected, just as you respect your parents room. If your sister has her own room, then I believe she already has a place where she can play. You didn't mention how old your sister is, but if you are close in age, it may be more difficult for both of you. You need your own space, she wants to do what you do.
I am a mom, my daughter is 8, my autistic son is 7, and my daughter is very good with her brother, but I realize that she needs her own time, her own things, her own space. This is true of all kids when they reach a certain age. It is not her job to watch my son, or clean up after him, it's mine, as a parent I have to make sure not to put too much responsibility on her when it comes to her brother. They fight, like any kids, and he tries to go into her room, and she hates it when he messes with her things, so, your not alone.

Ask your parents to set aside a little time where you can have a meeting, explain to them that you would like the chance to prove that you are responsible enough to have a guinea pig. Ask if they would let you keep it in your room, and ask them to help you gain some independence by keeping your room locked. Don't be too disappointed if they say no, I'm sure there are reasons for the choices they make, and don't throw a fit if they say no, prove you are mature by simply saying "ok, thank you for listening. "

Also, try to understand where your sister is comming from, you can have a good relationship with her, if you try. Autistic people can be difficult to understand, so learn her language, what do you have in common? what can you teach her?
I hope this helps,

Please explain your answer:
i think when people are 18, theyre responsible enough to know the affects that over-consumption of alcohol. besides, even if people move the age back up to 21 it doesnt mean that 18 year olds and under still wont get drunk, they can always just get friends to buy it for them.

peer groups

Why do you think underage youth feel the need to drink alcohol on a regular basis?
its not a feeling you can get from anything else, it makes you alot more confidence and youth are usually lacking in confidence during their teenhood, so a 'magical substance' that suddenly boosts their confidence is sure to be a popular hit.

In your opinion, what is a necessary action that should be taken to reduce the levels of binge drinking in underage youth?
raise the prices of alcohol, at least double.
