Please do not listen to these people who answered below me. They are afraid of the future and are trying to desperately hold onto their current lifestyle. They would probably tell you that God put dinosaur bones on earth to test our faith if your question was evolution based.

Climate change is the term given to the effects of a growing concentration of CO2 in our atmosphere. That growth is driven by the ever increasing consumption of Green House Gas (GHG) producing sources of energy. The unanimous scientific evidence points towards a general warming of the planet that has been increasing rapidly since the 1950 and the birth of the modern consumer based capitalist economies that the first world is based on.

As the planet warms (were talking like only 1-3 degrees Celsius here) the fresh water stored in glaciers and the polar ice caps melts and in turn dilutes the salt content of the oceans. This has been shown to effect the ocean current which are responsible for balancing our planets temperature and weather patterns. As the currents shift an effect that is called Climate Shift begins.

Climate Shift describes what we are presently seeing in Central Africa and Australia. Basically climates that have remained the same (when looked at from a long term view) are beginning to change. Dry places are getting dryer, wet places are getting wetter. This also has a large impact on diseases as insects (ex. malaria carrying mosquitoes) are able to move into new areas and are infecting countries that have never had these diseases.

That basically sums up Climate Change. As for what the UN is doing about it... While I am a big supporter of the UN, I have to say that they aren't doing anything. Research UNEP, United Nation Environmental Programme for more info, but basically they are extremely underfunded and not able to create policy or impose penalties on environmental offenders.

I hope this helps and I'll ask you again not to listen to the people who claim that Climate Change is a myth, and for arguments sake, let’s say it is a myth and that it is just the natural cycle of our planet. Ultimately, no harm can come from using less energy, living more sustainably and respecting our environment.

If I understand your question right, I would say leave them out.
I teach and I have my students write like a normal paper would be written - paragraph form. No numbers, or headings, or sections.
Rather than "Aim: blah blah" Just say "The aim of my project was to blah blah..."

Or just ask your teacher ;)
