Further, the contract should be awarded contingent that the work can be completed before November 20, when the northern owners return south for the winter.

if the odd report is required in the agreement, you must.

if no reports are required, you can refuse -- and would they maybe decide to give the business to someone else instead?


independent contractors have no contractual rights to be selling for this company unless your contract says you do. And even if it says you do -- the contract ends some day and the company is free to not offer you a new one.
