They can't make you testify. They will threaten you with contempt for not appearing on a summons but usually they do not prosecute a "victim." Fact is, they don't need you to testify. If you gave written report then you already kinda did. I am assuming they also took pictures unless you just dropped by the station to file a complaint.

I went through this not too long ago. I decided not to testify because it would have meant a five year minimum sentence for my Ex and I didn't want to put my daughter on the stand. After two weeks I decided I would testify but it was too late he already coped a plea. He was still charged and got 60 days.

Please talk to your kids and see how they feel. My daughter was a witness and she told me she did not want him back period and that she was scared of him. After that even though my heart was still not healed I pulled it together and prepared myself with a life that did not involve him.

We no longer have contact after three years of being together and that was hard because it was just there one day and gone the next. Each day that passed I realized how much better I felt and how much happier I was and so were the kids.

The best and fastest way to get through this is to comply with the Court so the State will remove the No Contact Order. Keep in mind if the State has a no contact order then your boyfriend can be charged with another crime for violating it.

If he did assault you then it isn't your fault that he is now in the situation he is in. I know it feels like you are more a victim now then before but it will get better I promise.

I am not a parent and I am only twelve years old , but I did a presentation on my laptop on why I want a dog and how I plan to look after it for my parents. I even bought a toy dog and I treated it like a real dog and took it for walks and pretended to feed it and play with it for about two months and eventually my parents saw how determined I was to get a dog and they got me one from the rescue centre. So it worked with my parents, it could work with your parents.

Maybe its about time Jermaine gets his behind over there and starts taking care of his children. The house seems to be a babysitting center. I am not surprised at all why MJ hardly took his kids over there to visit.
