The instructions seem pretty complete to me, just start - for practise pick an enemy, tell the story of one particular incident you recall, following the guidelines above. That should give you the idea then think of the story you want to tell - which will tell you the character you want to choose. Get writing.

An important clarification needed would be are you to ADD facts or expand on the facts already given by adding more detail?

Also, when you change from report form to narrative form, you automatically expand.

" Incident: bank robbery Date: 1/29/08" .... becomes :

"A bank robbery took place at the Wells Fargo Bank at 100 Main Street on January 29. At 2:30pm, a lone perpetrator entered the bank, handing a note to the teller demanding cash from her drawer.

The teller, Jane Smith, who resides at 2056 Maple street, Los Angeles California.... described....



If the robber was last seen "getting into" the car, then no one observed him leaving or what direction he took. If they had, he would have been last seen heading east. I wouldn't expand the narrative by changing the existing facts.

** Things like the address of occurrence, names, addresses, and relation to each other would be put in boxes above the narrative. Throwing books down has nothing to do with things, so didn't include it......
