What is a Case report. What do u ahve to do to write one and what do u need in it?We Answered:
1. this is a how-to that I found on the web:Title
List of main characters and where they fit in the murder case, i.e. suspect, victim, friend or relative.
Overall summary of the plot: who, what, when, how and why relative to the murder.
Clues: obvious when first read, obvious after finishing the book, or had to go back look for again.
Chemistry behind the poison used: how it was delivered to the victim, how it acted to cause death, how it was detected in the victim.
Look up the poison used in the Merck Index or other references to get the particulars about that poison (general information such as chemical name, structural formula, hazards, uses, LD50, etc.) For Documents in the Case, you need to include information about optical rotation by molecules. There are reference books with this information in Room 114 if you want to use them or you can use Google to find websites with this information.
2. The second website is an actual CASE REPORT

Forensics, Report Of Movements Through A Crime Scene.?We Answered:
Typical crime scene reports are structured in this way:Begin with the date, time of arrival and relevant conditions of the scene, then list information on how the scene was discovered/reported, ID of all officers/officials presents and working in scene (including their job), physical evidence collected, full ID of witnesses and results from their interviews, concluding with diagrams, sketches or pertinent visual/audio material.
Hope this helps.

What is the first case ever (criminal) in which forensic anthropology played a role in solving? We Answered:
My intro textbook (Silent Witness by Roxana Ferllini) has a case from 1849. The murder of Dr. George Parkman by (apparently) John W. Webster. Anatomist Dr. Oliver Wendell Holmes examined the recovered remains and came to the conclusion that they were consistent with those of the missing doctor. There's a lot of controversy about the case because they didn't have the appropriate statistical knowledge of the human skeleton back then. However the first case in which an anthropologist was called to testify was the murder of Louisa Luetgert in 1897. She was killed by her husband, Adolph Luetgert . Dr. George Dorsey examined fragmented skeletal remains and identified them as Louisa.
Hope that helps!!
