well, i think that you should start it off like this:

hope this helped!

I am a grade 8 ESL student,How can I inprove my French?

We Answered:

French is tough! I have been studying it in school for six years, and my classmates and I make basic mistakes every day. The first rule you need to remember is not to be too hard on yourself.

My favorite thing to do is watch movies and read books in French. Since you live in Canada, it won't be hard for you at all to find DVDs with French language tracks. If they have French subtitles, even better. Try setting both the audio and the subtitles to French.

Study outside of school with your classmates, too. When one of your friends comes over, agree to spend half an hour speaking only French. If you don't know a word, look it up or act it out!

Make sure you have a good pocket dictionary on hand that will explain word usages carefully; Larousse is my favorite. They also have a beautifully illustrated dictionary with nearly 2,000 pages -- ask for it for your birthday or a holiday. It's all in French, so it will become more useful the better you get.

There is a computer program called the Rosetta Stone that is great for learning languages. When I was in primary school, a French exchange student joined our class. He used Rosetta Stone every day, and within a month his English was much better. They don't have a program specifically for quebecois (Canadian French), but I'm sure it would be a great help nonetheless. The only downside is that the program is very expensive -- almost $200 US.

Good luck!

Can anyone help to write this sentense in a more defined way?

We Answered:

The percentage of students in ESL programmes referred by agents, both in public and private schools, is higher than that of students in degree programmes.
