Do public companies have to include a letter to shareholder in their annual report?

Hmmm,

Try http://www.sec.gov/edgar/searchedgar/web… or Hoovers.com.

The Sec will probably have the best information for you.

HELPPPPPP! ANNUAL REPORT?

We Answered:

Start with a broad view and get more concentrated. Look at the following angles (in this order):

- Computer and/or Consumer Electronics Industry -- how is it performing as a whole? Would you want to invest in any company in this industry?

- Apple's Competition -- what products have been released by competitors that may cause a decrease in Apple's revenue/popularity?

- New products -- does the annual report indicate the release of any new products or upgrades to exisiting products?

- Financial performance -- Just looking at the numbers won't tell you anything. Find some Analytics and Ratios from Yahoo Finance that compares the performance from year to year (Revenues, Net Income, ROA, ROI, Current ratio, etc.)

That should give you a good base to build.
