You can IF you want it to look like you're attending so many interviews you have a standard follow-up letter. Show some imagination, but if you're really struggling, at least change the wording slightly - these people may well see each other's letters.

All thank you letters should be written by hand. This shows you have taken the time and energy to personally thank the people who have done so much for you.

You don't have to write long letters, a few lines of thanks will do, and they will appreciate it more than you can imagine!

No, it is not at alll expected from a telephone interview. Nowadays, if you get the hiring manager's business card with email address at an interview, you can send a "Thank You email" if you are still interested. It is more immediate than a snail mail letter.

It's nice to individualize it but you don't have to go overboard like "thank you so much for the cookie monster bathtime giftset and the winnie the pooh onesie!"
I'd say something along the lines of "I just love the clothes and bath supplies. Thank you so much for being at my shower!"

If someone gives you a bunch of different things, its fine to do a general "thank you for all of your kind gifts"
