Writing Sales Letter

Sergio Said:

I need to write a cold-call sales letter to a potential customer, I need a good opening any suggestions?

We Answered:

With out knowing more I would suggest approaching it the same way as if you were meeting your prospect face to face.
Your opening should consist of who you are and why the potential customer should continue reading.
After your opening, you will need to address some of the potential problems your prospects in general are having and what it is that you do that solves that problem.
Remember, most problems are emotional based where as the solution is logic based.
Best of Luck

Sales Letter (Please correct it if it does not make sense or any grammar mistake)?

you need to make one correction. "A follow-up sales call would be APPRECIATED". Omit "in most cases".

Ross Said:

Can anyone help me with my covering letter for the position of sales assistant?

We Answered:

Go to yahoo search bar and type in Sample Cover letters for Sales Assistants...and check out the samples and apply the basics to your experience or class courses and why you are interested in this particular position.

on the top left of your cover letter you put the date, skip two spaces down and type your first and last name.

under your name, type your full address, and your telephone number and email if you have one.

Skip two lines and type in the person's full name and company's full address. Skip two lines and address the person or agency as such:

If you do not know the persons name of whom you are addressing, then type in Attention Hiring Personnel Department. Skip two lines and introduce yourself and state your letter of interest.

Let them know why you are interested in the open position and let them know that you are a fast learner, sharp, willing to be trained, and get along well with co-workers and Supervisors and have no problems with being asked to do something in regards to your position.

Make sure your letter is in a positive light, don't sound to needy, but don't under sell yourself either. Make sure you state your interest clearly and leave a contact number so that they can reach you.

Use your Teachers as professional references.

I hope you get the position!
