Help With Job Application Letter?

We Answered:

Why are you applying at this particular shop? Do you like their products, their service? Why do you think you'd be good at the job? These are questions you should answer in your letter. First paragraph should state reason for your letter and why you think you're qualified for the job: "I am very interested in your open position for X. I believe that my x, y and z skills make me a strong candidate for your position."Or, "I have been a long-time customer of your shop and love your products." List the skills or competencies that you have that best fit the job. If you are unsure what skills or competencies are required, talk to someone who has a similar job, and also talk to someone responsible for hiring someone in a similar job, perhaps in a different shop. This will prepare you for an interview. Also consider whether experience in other types of jobs you're had, paid or unpaid, prepares you for this position and include mention of the experience in your letter. I assume this is a cover letter for a resume, so you don't need too much detail.

Need to write a 200-300 word job application letter to accompany a resume about getting a managemnet job?

We Answered:

The first thing employers do now is to get the letter typed into google to see if it has been copied from anywhere on line.

Teachers do the same with home-work from kids too so if any one does type out words for you to copy then you will have lost the job before you even start.

Since you can not manage a less than a 20 word question without a typing error. Perhaps the job is not for you anyway.
