I don't do it all the time, but if I really liked a product I will write a letter of how much I liked their product they send free stuff for praises too.
I think some people are really opinionated and want everyone to know now they feel about things.

sometime a pithy short letter can do wonders, and write to a national newspaper and hope they print it. I have done so and it works
