Writing A Donation Request Letter
Emma Said:
donation request letters?We Answered:
Someone suggested having your child write or dictate the letter That is a great idea. Maybe start out with My Name is Bobby (or whatever) and My mommie is writing down what I say for me. I like to play baseball. Did you play baseball? Did you like it? Mom is our coach too. She says playing ball helps my muscles and helps me get along with people. I don't know about that but I like to hit the ball and run. Sometimes I catch it too. Right now the ball field needs a lot of help so us kids can play. Mom is writing down a list of the stuff they need so we can play. Will you help us please. (then tell any perks they get like ad in program or a certificate for their store when they help and suggest donation amounts, a choice of 3 levels usualy works) and ad you can come to our games too, OK?Thank you for helping us get to play
if you have a cute kids in ball uniforms picture put that at the bottom of the letter.

How do I write a letter to a church requesting a donation? We Answered:
I wouldn't hold your breath, even though the church is supposed to give back to the community. I find it odd that the church teaches us not to seek the things of the world, and then pass the plate to collect the money of the world.Billy Said:
donation request letter?We Answered:
If this is to send to businesses, you need to use their template. Call their customer support and ask for a donation request form, they will fax it to you. Fill it out and fax it back or drop it off at the desk in person. If this is to send to a person, just outline what you want to say:
1. What organization is asking
2. What does the organization do
3. What will the donation go towards
Gail Said:
Do you know of a good web site or book that will help me write a letter on requesting donations from Company'sWe Answered:
I have been writing letters to organizations to get prizes/donations for our library's fundraisers. Mostly, I explain what I am soliciting for and how their donation would be used.I usually get a very generous response. It all depends upon how that organization is doing and how many other organizations (like mine) ask for stuff.
I have received stuff like t-shirts, tickets, memberships, etc. from groups like The Cleveland Browns, The Cleveland Cavaliers and local museums and the like. The prizes/donations are not much, but our patrons like them.
I would suggest you have a colleague look over your letter first (for typos and misspellings) before sending it out.
Good luck.

Holding a fundraiser for my dad, need help with my donation request letter? We Answered:
try writing one from the heart. Be profesional and honest. Maybe your other family members can help you write it? I hope the fundraiser works and your dad gets better! God bless you!
