Referrals from other customers will help sell your DJ services to new customers. If you don't yet have any customers, you can volunteer your services for local charity events, etc and build up your customer base.

It also is important to present a professional image to potential clients. You may want to have a brochure or something similar to outline your services, rates and your contact information to customers (or set up a website).

You can also put together proposals for clients when you've discussed events and know what the clients' needs are.

Second paragraph change to: There are several areas of concern at CompanyName that need to be addressed, and of course, the cost of doing so is a primary concern. Unfortunately the amount proposed by OtherCompanyName exceeds the amount we have budgeted for this project and we have decided to.respectfully decline your proposal.

personally for me the best way for someone to get a hold of me and want to meet, which in my business happens, (i own an accounting business) is they first email me, then follow up with letter and phone call. for me that is what i respond to
