You are right. The correct way to do this would be a single "c", but everyone has gotten so used to "cc" that it has come to mean "copy to" or "copied to". Look at your email; when you want to send a message to additional addresses, you put them next to "cc", and when you don't want addressees to see who you've copied, you use the "bcc" (lit. blind carbon copy), although there's never been any "carbon" involved in sending emails!

anyways, i know this girl on tumblr who had alot of followers and she posted something about how she needed a penpal. if you a tumblr and a lot of followers, you could do that. Or, ask your teacher, if your school has some pen pal program. i know some schools do. if not, surf the net to see if there's a legit program that arranges pen pals.
