Letter Writing Lessons

Joshua Said:

Have you given your child a letter to excuse them from religion lessons at school?

We Answered:

I have never attended a religious lesson at school. Particularly in the public education system I think it is not needed. If parents want their children to learn about god then they should do it in their own time. All you need to write in the letter is that your family does not believe what is being taught and therefore your son/daughter must be excused from the "class".

Writing a letter of recommendation for so-so education student..?

We Answered:

You have to think like a politician and write a lot without really saying anything!

Help writing letter to decline scholarship...?

We Answered:

I promise you that you're not going to hurt their feelings. I'm sure they've offered other scholarships of that kind to other students and have had people decline them before.

You don't need to offer any type of justification or explanation; just say that you are appreciative of the offer but your college plans are not to move in that direction. If you plan to take at least one music class while you are there, maybe mention that you are looking forward to participating in their department in that way.

It probably doesn't have to be any more than a paragraph.

Maxine Said:

How do I write a letter excusining my child from relligion lessons?

We Answered:

It's up to you if you want to remove your child from the lesson. You didn't say if the religion was western or eastern and I love how people assume it's a western religion.

If you want to format the note:

Dear__/To whom it may concern.

Please excuse _____ from religion lessons. (You may enter a personal reason here)

Where would the best place be to hide a letter if I was back in Nazi Germany?

We Answered:

I thought of Mein Kampf before I read the answers and Greywolf had beat me to it, the best place to hide a tree is in a forrest.

Many of the top Nazis, although they were obliged to own one, few admitted ever having read it.
