Letter Writing In English

Ruth Said:

Please Help me I need writing letter in English!! and i'm barely speking english..T?

We Answered:

Well, first of all, I'd sign in to Craigslist.org (it's free). Then once you've established an account there (it's www.craigslist.org, by the way), I'd go to the forum section and ask that same question and submit it under "legal" in that section. You will be absolutely amazed by the responses you will receive, most from qualified lawyers, who actually enjoy responding to queries at the legal forum, because it fulfills their "pro bono" duties. It's the best solution to your problem, Ms., and I wouldn't hesitate to get on craigslist. Besides, I think it's a stretch to tell you that you've got to positively be in Atlanta to take care of your violation. In addition, stop worrying, because what you did is not a criminal offense, and it is highly unlikely that you'd be hauled off to jail for failing to take care of this matter prudently. Go to craigslist, and do as I suggest; feel free to e-mail me, if you're having a problem, okay? Message me at: joeycapp1@yahoo.com. Good luck, because all the help you'll need is seconds away! joey

Dear Sir/Madam

I attended your exhibition Sound Systems 2009 at the Fortune Hotel from 21 - 23 January and found it informative and interesting. Unfortunately, my enjoyment of the event was spoiled by a number of organisational problems. I explain each of the problems below.

Firstly, I had difficulty in registering to attend the event. You set up an on-line registration facility, but I found the facility totally unworkable. Even after spending several wasted hours trying to register in this way, the computer would not accept my application. I eventually succeeded in registering by faxing you.

Secondly, the exhibition was held at one of Hong Kong's most prestigious hotels, but frankly the venue was better suited to a medium-sized business conference than to a large exhibition open by registration to the public. The lack of space led to serious overcrowding in the venue, particularly at peak visiting times (i.e. lunch times and early evening). On one or two occasions I was also seriously concerned about the physical safety of attendees.

The final point I want to make concerns product information. It is very enjoyable to see and test a range of excellent sound systems, but it is also important to be able to take away leaflets on interesting products, so that more research can be done before deciding which system to buy. However, by the time I attended the exhibition all the leaflets had been taken.

Could I please ask you to look into these matters - not only on my behalf but also on behalf of other attendees, and in fact on behalf of your company, too.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully

Would you check my letter written in English?

We Answered:

I was really happy to receive a letter from you, I got it on August 6th. It took a long time, didn’t it?
It will probably take a long time for my letters to reach you, too.

I wonder who wrote the letter in English. It doesn’t seem to be written by an adult. Did you write it or did you ask someone else to do it instead?

I got the report about your health. According to that, you are 111cm tall and 18kg, is that right? I am a little worried about you, and I'm wondering whether you eat regularly. Studying is good, but health is essential for your dream to come true. Don't skip meals!

What is your favorite food?
I like “Kimchi” which is seasoned cabbage. It's a typical Korean dish, it might taste a little hot to you.
Do you like fish? I like seafood such as shrimp. I also love Indian food like curry, tanduri chicken and nan (thin bread). However, Indian food is very expensive in my country, so I eat it only on special occasions. I’ve heard that Nepal food is similar to Indian and Chinese food. I like Chinese food, too.

By the way, your drawing is really great: my husband was moved when he saw the decorations you added to your letter. I, too, was so excited to receive your letter that it relieved my spirit, especially since I was going through a tough period. You gave me a big gift. Thank you.

About the question you asked me in your previous letter: I used to write about movies and the entertainment industry because I worked for the movie magazine company. Now that I quit it, I usually write fairy tales for my niece, who is your age. I want to publish them in the future, but I am not sure if it will be possible. Writing novels has been my hobby since I was 8 years old. My niece also likes writing, she wrote a fairy tale about the friendship between a girl and a magic horse that can fly. She even made it into a book. I don’t have the book, but I have a copy. If you can read English, I’ll send it to you.

By the way, there seems to be some misunderstanding. ^_^ (This is a smile mark.)
I didn’t do three jobs at the same time – teacher, nurse and journalist.
After graduating from college, I worked as a journalist for one year, and I went back to school to major in nursing to immigrate to the U.S. because it's easier for nurses to get a job and settle in the U.S. compared to the other people.
However, for some reasons the plan changed, so I am still in Korea. I don’t think that I’ll move to the U.S. in the near future.
I worked as a nurse for a while and, after quitting, I taught students for some time.

Summer in Korea is also hot, I guess hotter than in Nepal. The daytime high is about 32-35 degrees and the humidity is 75-85%. Yes, it is a suffocating heat.

Oh, may I ask you something? How many students are there in your classroom? Who is your best friend? Friendship is one of the best things you can have in school.
Is your favorite subject math? I also liked math when I was a student. Math is beautiful even though some students hate it. ^_^

I read that your dream is to be a soldier. May I ask why you want it?
I’ve heard that a soldier is the most popular job in Nepal, but I think you have your own reason.

I asked you so many things. ^_^
Take care. If you have any questions, ask me, whatever it is.
I wish the best luck with you.
Give my regards to your family.

English writing. I am trying to write a cover letter for a teaching job. I am currently working as?

We Answered:

"Disappointed with the traditional approaches and believing I have something truly new to offer, I began an after school program three years ago. (Follow with some documented accomplishments of your program.) As well as honing my teaching skills by fixing what other methods broke, I also became a pupil: I learned responsibility, people skills, time management, and Basic Business 101."

Good luck. What an innovative iidea! Hope you get the job.
