Letter Writing Guide

Jimmie Said:

Is there an online guide for writing the Cyrillic alphabet?

We Answered:

There are variations of Cyrillic alphabet from language to language, the same way as there are a lot of variations of Latin alphabet. There are certain letters that are the same in all of the languages. Link below gives more detailed description of variations of Cyrillic alphabet.

If you would need to know how to write by using Cyrillic it would be more useful to determine the language that uses this alphabet first. Here are more links to various alphabets that might be useful:

Help writing a parent letter?

We Answered:

It is difficult to give a sample letter wihtout knowing the details. But I would start with a positive, then get to the negative then end with a positive.
E.g., Our children have been friends for a number of years but unfortunately it is my understanding that the friendship has deteriorated of late. (Then state what is wrong)
Then state what you would like to happen/them to do with the child.
Then end it stating something like - I hope we can work this out between us, please contact me on ....... if you would like to chat about it further.

Hope this helps you a bit

Writing a letter to the mortgage company?

We Answered:

I'm not sure why you would need to write a letter to your mortgage company? Are you in foreclosure? are you behind on your payments. As long as you have the correct insurance in place and are paying the mortgage company on time they have no business to know what you do with the house.

Valerie Said:

What are some basic things I should cover when writing a guide for my house sitter?

We Answered:

Water plants, feed animals, take out rubbish, answer the phone and write down messages, lock the house when you go out, pick up the mail, clean up after yourself.
If they not from your town suggest places to visit, shop, eat etc.
If you have any rules like no eating in the lounge or no shoes inside. Instructions on using washing machine, dishwasher tv etc. If there are any out of bounds places like your bedroom.
Tell them to relax and enjoy too.
