Don't worry. I am an English Teacher (Middle School) and I use this same metjod. I have a letter they copy, however. I examined what negative behaviors my students exhibit the most, then I wrote a letter for them to copy that explains why I do not like the said behavior, what it's ramafications are, etc. I really "broke it down" for them so they could understand why the behavior needs to stop. It is about 4 - 5 paragraphs long. It has worked amazingly.

It's been a long time since the epistolary form has been used and,I think it's time to bring it back.After all,it ceratinly didn't hurt Wilkie Collins and people are still reading,"The Woman in White"one of his best works.Then,of course,there's "Dracula" as you know,the whole tale is told through diaries and letters.You ought to give this some serious thought! It would be a great hook!
