Letter Writing For Kids
Delores Said:
Should we take the kids to see their mother in prison? We Answered:
Personally, I do not think that any child should be withheld from their mother. I do think you were right to withhold letters offering the children false hope. You did not give the ages of the children. I would ask them if they would like to go to the prison to see their mother. I would explain to them what the prison will be like (perhaps your fiance and you if you'd like take a trip to visit first to see exactly how the prison is and find out what to expect) explain things they may see or hear. You could try requesting private visits for the children so that they are not around other prisoners and visitors. Remember this is a prison not a jail. There will be more inmates more heinous criminals. Your lawyer could make the request. Also, I would not let any of the children speak to their mother alone. I would monitor what was being said I would also make it very clear to her that she does not try to give them false hope (being home for holidays etc) be very clear that if she begins playing head games etc that there will be no more visitations. You could ask the courts to provide a psychologist or social worker to oversee the visits if you'd like. You could also request that she only gets visitation if she takes part in regular therapy and parenting classes. It is great that you have accepted these children and the situation. These children are very lucky they need the stability and structure in their lives in order to become healthy productive members of our society. It seems to me that if they had remained in their mothers custody they would not have many chances at a good life. What is their mother in prison for? Have the children experienced their mothers illegal behavior? I ask because perhaps the children should see a psychiatrist. You don't know what all they may have been subjected too. They could have issues (including anger issues with their mother). I don't think it would do any harm to find a good child psychologist. As far as phone calls, I would not allow it all the time. (I would also monitor the phone calls and I would tell the mother ahead of time that they will be monitored either by recording or listening in) I would only allow them on birthdays and holidays. This may seem extreme but the mother seems like the type that would cause problems should she think you and your fiance are doing better with the children than she had done. I hope that after the mother is out of prison the children will either be grown or you and your fiance will remain their custodial parents. Good luck.Lori Said:

Writting letter for my English 10 class? We Answered:
I'm into music too and I've been playing guitar for 12 years. You could consider writing to your favourite guitar string company -- I wouldn't bother writing to a big guitar company like Gibson and expect anything back.Bernice Said:
I wrote a letter to give my 2 week notice for my kids daycare. I wrote the letter to "management" I found outWe Answered:
Well, to be fair, think about it from the "management"'s perspective...If there are issues going on in the day care, it could be affecting other children/customers. So, of course they are going to want to address your complaints with the teachers. Did you honestly expect them to sit back for 2 weeks and say/do nothing about your complaints? No way...because if something happened to another child during those 2 weeks that was even remotely related to the stuff you complained about, then the daycare center management could be held liable for having been made aware of circumstances but doing nothing about them.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a law in your state which *requires* the day care management to investigate/act upon complaints as soon as they are received.

where to send a letter to our soldiers? We Answered:
Hello,My Fiance and brother are both currently deployed, so i thank you for your generocity and thinking about our troops!
Having said that, they love mail! So, to send it to them from a non personal standpoint, I would contact your local government building or the local recruiting office, and they could point you in the right direction
