Letter Writing Exercises

Leslie Said:

What are some Writing Exercises to Strengthen Relationship?

We Answered:

Jessica Marie,

Why not find ways of doing the same things? Start a movie or book list that you guys can watch or read 'together.' It'll give you a surface connection and make you feel like you're together in some way.

Why not do some creative writing? Write each other poetry or stories or something like that. . . truest emotions are shown through fiction.

I know it's not possible for you, but my past girlfriend used to keep a journal that we would trade off. In it, we would write things that we would have a hard time saying to each other on the phone or face-to-face. We would swap the journal every week or so after the holder had the opportunity to write an entry.

It was nice to look back on. . . though, I really wish I could get it back now. It was a beautiful journal. . .

Good luck!

Thinking of writing letter to ex and reading it to him in 6 months...?

We Answered:

Don't do it. Things ended between you two, so accept it and move on. He doesn't care about your feelings now and won't in 6 monthes. Guys are heartless like that.
