Letter Writing Applying For A Job

Chad Said:

Should I ask for internship opportunity in my Job applying letter?

We Answered:

universities.atwebpages.com - I found such internship info here. It has lots of internships, job openings and scolarships for college students.

Herbert Said:

What should i write on a cover letter when applying for a job ?

We Answered:

Write about any course, internship, volunteer work, activities in college or back in high school, hobbies, interests, academic record, etc. that relates to the work you want. Most part-time work around college won't require a cover letter - just perhaps a resume.

I've written an article a few years ago called "Cover Letters Count." If interested, you can read it here: http://www.quintcareers.com/cover_letters_count.html

Good luck!

Brad Said:

How do write a cover letter when applying for a job not in your field?

We Answered:

The same thing only worded a little different.

Put in these key points:

Your name and the company name (so every one can keep a better record)

What you like about that specific company (mission statement, particular jobs they have worked on)

Why you would be good for them (or at least mention "I think we could work well together" or something like that)

State your resume is attacked and give the resume.

That is a general out-line for a cover letter no matter who you give it to. That is a pretty big difference, what would make you want to switch?

Good luck!

Jamie Said:

What can I write in a cover letter for applying to a job for the first time?

Timothy Said:

Is a cover letter necessary when applying for a part time job?
