Your CV should be just details about you.

You should send a covering letter with your CV saying something like
Dear Sir/Madam

In response to the advertisement in... for the position of.... please find enclosed my CV which I hope you will find satisfactory.
As you will see from my CV, I have considerable experience as .... and believe that my skills will enable me to work to the highest standards. Specifically, I worked for .... for...months/years in the role of .....which allowed me to become proficient at dealing with customers while having the versatility to meet a range of demands.
