If you have worked with people then you have customer service skills which is a huge part of being a Sales Associate. Try to explain on the coverletter why you would make a great salesperson. In the first paragraph make sure you tell the employer how you found the job, what you know about the company, and that you could bring strong customer service skills to the organization. In the second paragraph you want to give specific examples of how you helped people as a nursing assistant, and tell the employer why you would love to be a Sales Associate. Third paragraph close the paragraph with letting the employer know how you can be reached, and thank the employer for their time and consideration. Express very high interest in the position.
