First you have to install Arabic language. You do it from your Control Panel, then Regional and Language Settings, then click the 'Language' tab.
There you see 'Install files for East Asian Languages'. Check this box. Then Details - Settings - Add and then find Arabic.
So that you know which letter is asigned to which key on your keyboard, you can go for example to http://www.islam-qa.com/ There you'll see a picture with a keyboard and Arabic letter 'ayn. Dowload this picture, so that you know whic letter is asigned to which key. Hop I could help.

Surprisingly, pretty good. There are 28 basic letters, but each letter has different forms ie. by themselves, with other letters, ending a word and beginning a word.
