How To Write A Thank You Letter After An Interview
Brenda Said:
How long should I wait to write a thank you letter after a job interview? We Answered:
I wouldn't wait more than a couple of days. Those interviewing are interviewing more people than just you, so they may not remember who you are after that.I've received thank-you emails (I'm in IT so that's perfectly acceptable) within an hour after the interview, and that quickly seemed like they ran home and typed it up right away and just a little too eager, but later the same day would be just fine to thank them for the opportunity to interview with them.

How do you write a letter after a job interview? We Answered:
First use spell check to make sure that you do not have any spelling errors in the letter. If you do you have wasted your time sending the note.I prefer to receive a hand written note. I usually skim it so the content can be minimal. Make sure that the note card is professional looking. A monogram is most appropriate. No cute pets, cartoons, etc.
The note should be something along the lines of
Dear Mrs. Jones,
Thank you for taking the time to consider me for the position of bank teller. I am interested in a the position with your bank name and look forward to hearing from you soon.
I found during the interview that your position would be a good fit for me because of my organzational skills and ability to smile broadly when approached by strangers.
Once again, thank you for interviewing me.
Sincerely,
Sally Field

how soon after an interview should i write a thank you letter? We Answered:
I would say that if they have not contacted you yet about the job, it is still perfectly acceptable to send a thank you note. If they are still in the process of deciding, that might even influence them to choose you! I have consistently had more success getting jobs when I sent a thank you note to my interviewer; it shows that you are considerate and detail oriented.I hope this helps... good luck with the job as well!

Amanda H hit it right on the head for the thank you note. You want them to remember you? Why not make a trip down there and befriend one or more of the workers and even better, the manager. Even if they don't hire you on this time around, making friends, going in "just to chat" wouldn't hurt one bit. Then, go in there, maybe once a week or two "just to say hi, and how're things going"
Many years back I did just that, made friends, etc, Finally NINE months later I came in the manager asked me if I still want the job for a new opening...been working there ever since.
