How To Write A Resignation Letter
Lucy Said:
How do I write a resignation letter from Medical School? We Answered:
If you resign, you are done. This isn't high school or college. They aren't going to take you back, don't expect that they will. If you have ANY doubts that you aren't making the right choice by leaving, don't. This will follow you forever, even if you apply again because AMCAS asks you if you have ever been accepted or matriculated again. You had a rough year, why would another medical school risk an expensive spot to someone who couldn't take it the first time? My recommendation is that you request a leave of absence, if you really feel like you need a break.
