How to write a letter to my Human Resource Manager regarding a harrasment at work?

We Answered:

You need to start out with their name and something like:

I am writing in regards to a matter that occurred on _____[date] and then describe the incident. You should also be sure to include contact information, and perhaps names of those who witnessed the incident if available.

How to write a cover letter - best answer 10 points!!!?

We Answered:

When you write your cover letter, this is pretty much your time to sell yourself. You start it almost like a letter to a friend, family member, etc. Date the top, and do some research on the company so your next line will include the company name and its address. Secondly, address the manager as "Dear so and so.."

Tell them why you are writing them! For instance "from the newspaper i found out about your need for a sales associate. I am interested in this position with your company and i feel my job history and experience (or whatever you feel fits) qualifies me for the position.."

Next, tell them a bit about yourself! What qualifies you for the job! Tell them a bit about your job history that relates to the job, and if you have ever received promotions, awards, or anything like that for the work you do.

After you've done this, tell them you will follow up with them in the next few days/week to confirm they've received your resume.

Tell them you will be enclosing your resume and a reason for it. (which more fully details my qualifications for the position..)

Lastly, thank them for their consideration!

Then you simply want to put your name, your address, and a number and/or e-mail in which you can be reached.

Hope this helps you!! Good luck!

Can someone provide and write an example of a cover letter that does not overuse the word " I " in it? ?

We Answered:

Its about not using the word "I" at the start of sentences or paragraphs more than anything. i.e. I gained computing skills while working for XYZ, could be re-written as: While working for XYZ I gained many computing skills.

Just write it how you normally would, than push the sentences around. Thats the beauty of the english language, you can mess with the order of things!
