Barbara Said:

Can someone help me write a letter to reject a job offer ? What should it say ?

We Answered:

While I appreciate your consideration and the offer before me, I must respectfully decline. Due to some pivotal changes in my current work situation, I've elected to continue my employ with them

Thank you so much for your time.

(I wouldn't be dishonest and say you've accepted a position at another firm. Depending on your industry, they will know if you've stayed at your current place or gone elsewhere.)

Travis Said:

How can I write a letter declining a job offer due to salary?

We Answered:

I wouldn't write anything, I'd talk to them. If they want to negotiate, then talk to them and do it. If you write the letter, they may just toss it and go onto the next applicant. If you really want to write the letter, you should be brief, polite, and don't burn bridges. See link to read more.

Patrick Said:

How to write a letter declining a job offer after accepting the job verbally?

We Answered:

As you only accepted the job offer verbally, so you may decline it verbally - there's no need for a letter.

Ring them up and explain the situation truthfully and apologise for any inconvenience. They'll get over it.

Discuss It!
