have to write a one page letter for follow up after job interview?

We Answered:

Keep it real - but still very professional. Spell check and watch your grammar! Read the letter backwards when it's complete to catch usage errors like there/their etc.

Thank them for the interview, explain you thought it was informative at setting up the expectations.

Did they mention the work place culture? If so mention that too. It's wonderful to work in an environment were your co-workers are professional, supportive and have a great positive attitude.

What experience will you gain? Real world experience that will help you further hone existing and/or develop new skills in administration and management?

Is there room for promotion? Very few of us just want to get on the treadmill and keep on going so a job that offers the opportunity to develop new skills and has room for advancement is great!

What can you contribute? Good work ethic, professionalism. Sound like the company needs a high level of efficiency so speed and accuracy in all matters would be essential.

With this in mind - you do not need to fill the page. In your opening paragraph thank them for the interview, and as requested you'd like to clarify for them why you're the right candidate for the job, and why they're the right company for you.

Perhaps mention the proximity to home as a quick 4th bullet point.

For each bullet point you mention - give a one to two sentence supportive statement.

BREATHE!! Be confident in what you have to contribute.

Good luck

How to write a nice follow up letter to a co worker?

We Answered:

its hard to give advice without knowing what you did to make them so mad at you...
but say what you put here....you've made a great effort to resolve this issue and you'd like to put it all behind you (list reasons why). your sorry (if it applies). this will be your final effort to make amends and put the issue behind both of you which is why you'd greatly appreciate if he/she responded. then maybe mention that you'd be willing to talk in person to once and for all settle the differences

HOW do you write a good follow up letter to an interview?

We Answered:

A few paragraphs is long enough (and you can send it via email, by the way). Basically a thank-you letter reiterates what you said in the interview. It can be something like:

Dear Ms. Smith:

I wanted to thank you for taking the time to meet with me today regarding the Administrative Assistant position at ABC Consulting. I enjoyed speaking with you and learning more about the company and its current activities.

As discussed, having worked in a consulting firm for several years, I have extensive experience in the nature of this business and I would easily step into this position, with very minimal transition. Given my strong computer skills and experience working for high level executives, I am confident that I would make a positive addition to ABC Consulting.

If you should have any questions or require additional information, please contact me at (555) 555-5555.

Once again, it was a pleasure to meet with you. Through our discussion, I am convinced that your company offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Jane Doe
