Writing A Will
Christy Said:
Do you think writing will become a useless skill in the future? We Answered:
Yes, but it will probably take longer to die out than you think. It might hold on for things like signatures on legal documents. (Not that good digital solutions for that sort of problem don't exist already, but there's a lack of agreement on standards.)Handwriting will die out about fifty years after it stops being taught in schools. That's probably not going to happen until someone invents a computer that a 4- or 5-year-old can use (that's done already, actually) and can't break - or that's cheap enough that no one cares about the cost of replacements.
I can see historical re-enactment people trying to learn it from old books and films and grumbling about how hard it is to guide the pen to form those beautiful letters - because they didn't start learning until they were 20 or 30, instead of when they were kids.

Will a bad writing score affect your college chances? We Answered:
A low writing score means you have trouble communicating. My sister is an academic and she rails constantly about her students expecting her to decipher their ideas. If your written communication is bad you are behind academically.Patrick Said:
How do I know if the book I'm writing will be good enough? We Answered:
Give some of the drafts to your friends or family. See how they response to it. But you should join a club of some sort and give them the drafts, if you're hoping for a more honest response.Jaime Said:
If I have a black shirt and use an iron on transfer with black writing, will the words be white or gray?We Answered:
white i did that before with really cheap lettering and it was still white alothough it came out in a faded way because i took it off too early but yeah it will def be very white just make sure to keep the iron on high and long enough specs of black might possibly show thru tooCharlene Said:
How can I find a reputable Literary Agent, and how do I know that my writing will be protected? We Answered:
AgentQuery and AbsoluteWrite are both excellent, but your homework on agents is not complete without a visit to Preditors and Editors as well. Can I answer a question you didn't ask but should have? With a manuscript almost finished at 115,000+ words, what you have is most of a first draft. No matter how good that first draft is, you are not yet ready for an agent. You need to set the completed draft aside for several months, not so much as looking at it, then do an extensive edit or rewrite based on what you see with 'new eyes.' Put it away again. Repeat until nothing you do can improve it in any way.
Remember, your manuscript will be competing against others which have been rewritten and edited a great many times.

Will typning or writing my notes out help me remember what I learned better? We Answered:
writing it deffnetly helps me.I usually make cheat sheets. i write everything i need to know on a tiny peice of paper. But then when i got to take the test, i never end up needing the cheat sheet because i remember everything i wrote on it. Funny how that works actually.
