Your teacher probably means a rebuttal. In a good persuasive essay, you need to have at least one rebuttal. It is a "you may think this, but really...(first support opinion)" So you guess in advance what the opposing side may say, and you reassure them that you are still right. You only need one rebuttal in the whole essay, but by having more, you will be more persuasive.
