While complex, the dissertation research and writing process is a straightforward one. After you select your topic and break it down into a more focused topic of investigation, you need to access general, although academic and peer-reviewed, articles on the topic. Reading through those articles will help you clarify the direction of your dissertation and, importantly, guide you in the writing of your research questions and hypothesis.
Following the above step, you need to take a careful look at your research questions and hypothesis and use them as guides in your search for the required research material. When collecting your research material, you have to take a number of considerations into account: 1) there is a representative number of books and articles; 2) books and articles selected for inclusion into your study must be reliable, written by an authoritative source on the subject, published in a respected academic journal or by a reputable publishing house and 3) should be, ideally, peer-reviewed. Most universities have online access to academic databases, of which ProQuest, EbscoHost and Jstor are wonderful examples, and, thereby, facilitate your search for the required quality sources from the comfort of your home.
Having collected your research material, you should now read a few of them in order to write up your draft outline. As you do so, try allocating the research material you have collected to the different sections of your dissertation. For example, when outlining your introductory chapter it is advisable that you identify the sources which you will use in this chapter.
Once you have completed the steps clarified in the above, you are ready to begin the chapter-specific research and writing stages. Read the articles you have set aside for Chapter I of your dissertation, annotate the articles or books as you go along and, upon completion of this stage, move onto the actual writing. Pay extra attention to your citations and make sure that everything you quote is placed within the required quotation marks and that the source is explicitly stated. You also need to give proper and due credit to any whose ideas you have used, whether or not you employed their actual wording.

i tried ukessays.com and fastcustomessays.com and i feel fastcustomessays.com is much better than the other. My friends are also using such services and find it ok. Ukessays.com is very expensive compared to fastcustomessays.com and personally, i feel fastcustomessays.com is gud and cheap. I am not recommending anything like this but just adding my experience. My dissertation structure/layout was dictated by my department and and was supposed to conform to the The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association known as the APA style. Many other field have adopted this format. Check with your advisor or department.
