Writing A Cv
Joel Said:
When writing a CV should I put all my qualifications even if I have bettered them?We Answered:
You need to account for time periods. If there is a suspicious time-gap between qualifications then you may need to account for it. If you got a degree, then you still need to account for the qualifications that occurred before you got a degree, even though a degree dwarfs the previous exams.Roberto Said:
Can anyone provide me with some advice and tips for cv writing? We Answered:
There are loads of templates for CV writing - either google it or check out the ones that come with Microsoft Office. In terms of general tips for you:
- Include a personal statement first, explaining what you are currently doing, what you want to do for a career and hence why you are applying for this position (so you may need to tailor this to each application). You can also include a sentence about personal attributes (e.g. "I have excellent communication skills and work very well in a team") but if this part is going to be too generic then don't bother
- As a current student with no/limited work experience, put your education at the top of the CV. Do not list every single class that you are taking at university, but do add anything that is particularly relevant. You should also include your A-level grades. With GCSEs you only need say "Eleven passes at GCSE including English and Maths". Include details of any academic prizes or awards you have received
- Make sure you include any positions of responsibility and any clubs/societies that you have been involved with at university; however I wouldn't go into detail about high school positions unless you were Head Girl or something extraordinary
- Don't go into too much detail about work experience that isn't relevant. If your only experience is working as a cashier at Tescos, then definitely include it, but you don't need to list every single duty that you undertook - just a very brief summary will do
- Make sure that you include any voluntary work that you have done, even if it was just one day rather than an ongoing thing if relevant
- Your CV at this stage should only be one page long - any longer and you've included too much!

Writing a cv with no work experience or qualifications? We Answered:
Generally Curriculum Vitae is prepared with the full details regarding the candidate;Your CV is your passport to your interview. Its sole objective is to sell you and your skills to a prospective employer enough that they want to meet you in person. It is not an autobiography. Stick to clear and concise information about what you have achieved. You have no experience and qualifications but everyone have something special in there own........

What are the best CV writing companies in the UK?We Answered:
Honestly (and you may not like the answer)YOU! Do consider sitting down quietly and starting from scratch on a generic version you are both happy of and proud; once complete and two pages max is what you need, tailor it (bespoke) to be fit for purpose when applying for a specific position, in other words make the CV suit the job. Some artistic license is necessary but the whole purpose is getting you in for that interview, that's when you REALLY sell yourself.Trust me, please no-one knows you or what you have done better than yourself. It doesn't matter if it takes a week, you will feel so proud of yourself when you get an interview based upon YOUR OWN submission. Make it concise, interesting, reasonably factual (don't exceed your obvious competency levels) clear font such as aerial etc at size 12 in black or very dark blue; start with a summary, this is helpful when someone has a lot to sift through, they can come back later. Make certain you answer the phone in a pleasant manner, it may be YOU they want for interview so just bear that one in mind when you are al grumpy and fed up, it could be the call you have been waiting for.
Make the cover letter bond with the CV and become part of it and get spelling and grammar as tight as possible.
right down to sticking the stamp on straight, ( I can tell a lot by the presentation.
Go on surprise yourself, have a go, you can always ping me if you like and I'll take a look and see what you have produced.
good luck and don't doubt yourself.
