Can somebody help me write an essay based on a quote from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar? We Answered:
This is referring to the fact that people can be easily altered, especially when they are in the presence of crowds. This is also called Crowd Mentality. People who are skilled at speaking and can take advantage of the emotions of a crowd are the ones who can use this principle to their advantage.Mark Antony uses this to turn the people of Rome against the conspirators in his famous speech
"Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your ears.
I come to bury Caesar, not to praise him..."
Even though he says that he supports the conspirators, he subtly criticizes them.
The crowds, just a moment before Antony spoke, wanted to crown Brutus their king. Now, after Antony speaks, because he is a skilled orator, everyone wants to kill Brutus. They hate him so much that he had to flee Rome.

Whats the difference between an essay you write in AP English compared to an essay you write in AP U.S Hist.?We Answered:
the essays you write are fairly different in the two classes. AP US is going to primarily grade you on how well you answer the question (of course) but also takes into account your apparent depth of knowledge in the subject as a whole. You essentially get graded highest for a well organized answer that contains facts that demonstrate a mastery of US History. They also ask document based questions (DBQ's) where you are expected to use all (or most) of the 8 or so source documents that they supply.English depends on which class you are taking (Lit or Lang). Language is going to focus more on the technical aspects of your writing (correct terminology, appropriately developed argument) whereas Lit will grade primarily on how perceptive you are in your analysis of fictional works and their use of things like allegory, satire, stanza structure, imagery depending on the sort of piece questioned about. Your teachers in each class should teach you what the graders are expecting (so I wouldn't worry about it too much), but the essays are overall differently structured.
