I switched to a functional resume and got more responses that way.
Although on mine I didn't really have a profile section. The purpose was to bullet all the skills at the top. You may wish to adjust the bullet points per the job you are applying for.

Giving a list of previous employers goes afterward, and you can specifically talk about different contributions rather than talk about general skills since that was already covered. Also, if you have many employers, a lot of the skills are the same, so why repeat that information, putting them at the top is more concise.
