what is your question? If you want to learn to write a work book, start with basics, 'hello' 'how are you' 'my name is' 'what is your name' colors, numbers, clothes. stuff like that.

Im a 13 yr old kid who happens to be very bright. I need tips on writing a book.?

We Answered:

Just sit down and start to write. The ideas will come to you. Don't take ideas from others, the ideas are better when you craft them yourself. However, if you have any ideas you think might be nice, email me at fortneyiii@aol.com and I'd be happy to help you refine them.

At our age, the best thing to write about is probably teenage life--what we go through as far as friends and relationships and whatnot. Incidentally, teen novels make good money these days :)

Write what you know. Write what comes to you. Write what makes you happy.

If you don't follow those rules, your writing will be no good. If you do follow those rules, then, since you're smart (I trust you're telling the truth), your writing will be good.

Once again, I will be happy to assist you in the process.

Does anyone have any good tips for finding ideas and writing a book?

We Answered:

think of a big amazing shocking terrifying sad or upsetting moment in your life time expand this idea by about ten think of other ways the incident may have occurred whether it was meeting someone and falling in love or as simple as falling and breaking your ankle . think of different ways this could have ended after breaking your ankle your were in hospital and fell in love with a surgeon that's just an example by the way. think of what kind of story you want to tell romance horror comedy fiction fact fantasy. before writing your story create completely different characters the hot intelligent amazing surgeon is not the man you thought he was he is cheating on his wife and is addicted to prescription drugs. i will tell you have a good idea of the ending before you start writing or your plot will end you going nowhere ! best of luck:)

Any tips or suggestions on writing a book on anorexia? All answers are appreciated.?

We Answered:

Write from the heart. Go through your life and how everything happened chronologically. You might want the first chapter to be at the worst part of ur own struggles, then the stuff leading up to that point, and then recovery. diary entries format can work too.

I want to write a story What are some useful tips on writing a book?

We Answered:

although I have been writing for a long time, im 15, i still consider myself as a beginner, so you may think it better to take the advice of me, or not.

Make sure you have a notebook - any will do, but i personally love to collage/decorate them.
when an idea pops up WRITE IT DOWN! - and i mean ANY idea, you never know what can inspire you.
READ, READ ,READ!
Also, read your favourite novels to see how they are written and how the author shows different scenes/feelings etc.
on the same note, look at authors that you think have a similar writing style, or one you would like to write like.

Then once you get an idea, plan - go to google and you will find many great sites to help with that (but EVERYONE is different)
don't worry about grammar or mistakes the first time, just get everything down - then you can change, scrap or add.

it is really fun writing, and i love it, I hope you do too!
