Teaching Children To Write
Josephine Said:
What is the correct way to teach children to write the alphabet? We Answered:
Teach letters with similar strokes (slants, rounds etc.. )together. For example:
Capital A, K, M, N,V, W, Y, Z all have a slant stroke
lower case a,c,o all have round strokes
p, g, j all cross the baseline.
Good luck!

Does anyone know of a programme that teaches young children to write and spell on the COMPUTER?We Answered:
Hi :) Have you considered 'Typer Shark'? I vaguely remember having this at my infant and primary schools, on the computers..It seems to be the same principle of what you are looking for, I think it's free but it may be a trial only...Good luck!
Ramon Said:
I have a strong passion to write children's Books. This passion has existed for a long time. However I haveWe Answered:
There's no upper age limit for children's authors. However, the norm for picture books is for the publisher to buy the story and find the illustrator they believe best suits the material. Submissions of story with art in place are routinely rejected. However, if you're willing to pay, you and your illustrator could self-publish. Marketing opportunities will be limited, because bookstores will not host signings or carry the book (although they can order it), and radio, TV, magazines, and newspapers will not ordinarily run press releases or conduct interviews with self-published authors.
In this case, your age, medical situation, and positive outlook might actually serve as a novelty, enough that it could get you some publicity if you're willing to "exploit" yourself in exchange for sales.

I want to start teaching my child to write letters and numbers - he turned 3 in July?We Answered:
My son is also 3 and is a very very smart boy. He can draw smiley faces and a few letters and numbers but not many,You really cant expect much from a 3 yr old and if he gets bored dont try and make him keep doing it because it will turn him off doing it all together.
Just slowly do it like you have already been but dont push it. He isnt expected to write letters or numbers until his is 5. And thats what they learn to do at school.
Just praise him when he does little things even if they dont look like the letter or number
Make a big deal out of it and make it sound like its the greatest thing on earth that he is trying.
Painting is a better way to start his hand coordination.
Give him a big piece of paper a old shirt a paint brush and a bit of paint and let him express himself
its the start of writing but yes keep doing what your doing but dont get worried about him getting bored because its expected! he is only 3 :)
good luck
