i need help with my homework please? We Answered:
I don't really understand the question. Maybe I don't know the context. Summarizing is just where you basically say the main points of the topic without adding all the other details. You can read a newspaper article that goes on for pages about something. For example: pages and pages go on about the Pope dying. How would you summarize this? Well: The pope is dead. That is the summary. That is an extreme summary but that is the point. Often in a essay or article the first sentence of each paragraph gives you the topic of that paragraph. So if you summarize each topic sentence you should have a summary (providing the article has good topic sentences)Hope this helps!

World History advice please?We Answered:
The first thing you have to do is clarify your thesis. What are you trying to say about the treatment of women? You've contradicted yourself by saying that ancient Greek women had freedoms that men didn't have, and then saying that they had few rights. Then you leap ahead to the Middle Ages. You contradict yourself again by saying that women had to follow the rules, but fought alongside men and worked in shops. You need to do some research and then decide on a thesis that you can prove with facts.

grade my writing?We Answered:
I don't think there's really a site to grade you but there might be sites or atleast forums that help you like sparknotes.com forums. they might help you figure out what you need to improve on etcalso, one way to generally see how good ur writing is is just do a spell check in ur word document and turn on a setting that does reading statistics. it tells you according to ur words, word structure, paragraphs, etc what grade level writing you are doing. Mind u, its not always accurate though! But I found it helpful to improve my writing ability in h.s

How do I figure out my grade as of now? And the grade need to get on my final?? Please help?We Answered:
OK,I am assuming your quizzes and essays are out of 10 possible points.
Add up your quizzes: 8 + 9 + 8 + Quiz 4 + Quiz 5 = 25 + 2 Quizzes
Add up your essays: 8 + 10 + 9 +Essay 4 + Essay 5 = 27 + 2 Essays
Midterm is 66 out of 100 possible points.
Right now, you have 118 points total, but you still have potentially 20 points on quizzes, 20 points on essays and 100 points on your final. If you scored perfect on everything, you would have 258 points, which takes you out of the "A" range, but you can still make a B. You basically have 18 points to fiddle with to still get a B. Say you get a 9 on each essay and a 9 on each remaining quiz, you could make an 86 on the final and get a B. You only have 18 points to play with, though. To get a C, you have 48 points to play with... For a D, you you can lose up to 78 points.
I'd say strive for the B, and you can always fall back on the C. If the rest of the class is doing poorly, the teacher may curve you up to an A if you have a B.

B&A: Your writing rubric?We Answered:
My main criteria for writing is merely "Does I likes this?" (I have said that to myself in that exact wording--I've found myself addicted to say "can has"). That sort of divides into three things--"Does I likes the plot?"; "Can I has better writing?"; and "What will others thinks of this?"BQ: It was sailors...then I wrote a Sailor Moon parody. It was mermaids...and my new story is going to have mermaids. So...I don't know...I'd say something but I'm sure I'll end up writing about it...
Okay, body glitter. DARN IT I'VE ALREADY WRITTEN ABOUT IT!!!
