Report Writing Training

Lawrence Said:

how to Write a report to your Head of Department explaining why induction training important of new personnel?

We Answered:

When you say induction I assume you mean orientation. If the company you work for doesn't have a program for new employees, either suggest it in a nice way, or put your suggestion in a suggestion box.
If they don't have a suggestion box, your boss might appreciate the thought.

how can i write a yearly accomplishment training report?

We Answered:

Hmmm....well, I would think it should entail each of the major goals of the year and what was done to get to each goal. I wouldn't get too technical, and try to keep it to one or two pages. If you did not reach a major goal, list it, too, and what kept you from reaching it and how you will reach it next time up.

And, it really depends on what your management is looking for, but I think the above is a good start.

Where can i find a report evaluating a training course within a contact centre?

We Answered:

Your question isn't very precise - has the training taken place, are you going to facilitate it, are you selling it, what kind of training is it, skill, etiquette, language? What contact center is it, over the counter, phone? What industry, IT helpdesk, Banking?

This might help: A white piece of paper is one of the most frightening things there is... But fret not, you have already much more information than you think! Take your notes, the training brief the delegate feedback and any other material from the course.

You can of cause ask your manager how he wants the report to be written, ask him for previous reports that he liked and copy the structure. Tell him that that would ensure the best use of both of your time and certainty that the content is delivered in the appropriate form.

Otherwise: If you want to write a report, you need to be clear as to the outcome: Who is your audience and what do they need/want to know?

Structure the report and follow the structure - always keep in mind what your outcome is: Concise information for decision making processes.

Here is an example:

Introduction
Background/Aim
Programme Overview

Participants profile
Expectations of participants

Description of training progress
Description of delegate's responses
Description of exercises and outcomes

Evaluation of the training (trainer/your perspective)

Annex (used materials)
Delegate Feedback etc

Hope this helps
