How do you write a personal response to a scene from Hamlet? We Answered:
I'm doing my Leaving Cert this year as well, I did some revision of Hamlet yesterday and found Wikipedia very useful. If I were you I would start with the first scene, steal some relevant ideas off Wiki, go to the next scene and do the same thing until you get to the last scene. For example, it has been suggested that the first soliloquy was not intended to be a soliloquy when Shakespeare wrote it as the original script tells Hamlet to look at Ophelia as he says it. Some say it is just meant to be another crazy rant towards Ophelia.Brad Said:

How to write a summary in MLA format? We Answered:
Hmm, if you are just supposed to hand write the summaries, I don't think you would have to have 1 inch margins or anything unless your teacher was really strict about that. But what you should have is:
Your name, your teacher's name, the class, and the date the summary(ies) are due on the top of the paper. Unless otherwise instructed, I would write that information on the top left corner. If you're allowed to use notebook paper (which you probably are since you have to hand write it), skip every line so it is double-spaced. Make sure you have a title for the paper; write this in the middle of a line so it's centered. Number the pages on the top right if there are multiple ones, and also include your last name before the page number. You will probably also need to include a works cited for Great Expectations which should be simple. :) Also, if you are using quotes, make sure you do these correctly according to MLA style (include the page number(s) after the quotes).
Here's a website for how to cite Great Expectations in the works cited section (if you need to have one): http://www.liu.edu/cwis/cwp/library/work…

How to write a good Chapter summary? We Answered:
What is the certain chapter about? Did the MC find out something new about himself/herself? Did the MC travel? Basically, you just sum up what the chapter was about. That's really all I can tell you since you didn't talk about what you were writing.
